You don't blow an account in one trade — you bleed it out
Most traders don't lose it all at once — they bleed out through a series of bad decisions. Flow's number one: revenge trading after a loss. The fix is to close the laptop and walk away.
Most traders don't blow an account with one mistake — they bleed it out through a series of bad decisions. The one Flow calls out first is revenge trading after a loss: the market took your money and it feels like it owes you, so you try to force it back. His fix is blunt: "don't trade that day. Close your laptop, walk away. The market will always be there tomorrow."
Number one: revenge trading
A single loss rarely ends an account. What ends it is the reaction — trying to win the money back right now, on tilt, in trades you'd never normally take. That's revenge trading, and it's how one red trade turns into a blown week. The move that saves you costs nothing: stop for the day. "Close your laptop, walk away. The market will always be there tomorrow." Protecting the account is the trade.
