Trained money vs. untrained money: why you give it all back
You're up, you keep trading, and you hand it all back to the market. Flow calls it untrained money — undisciplined, revenge-trading, overtrading. Trained money knows when to stop.
Being up and then giving it all back to the market is the signature move of untrained money. Untrained money is undisciplined — it revenge-trades and overtrades. Trained money is the opposite: it builds habits and knows when to stop. As Flow puts it, "it's a discipline problem," and when you learn the difference you become a much better trader.
It's a discipline problem, not a strategy problem
Every trader knows the feeling: you're green, so you keep clicking — and then the market takes it all back. That's untrained money. It over-trades, it revenge-trades, and it never bags the win. Trained money treats the same setup with rules: take the gain, stop, come back tomorrow. "We got to build the habits as traders in order to get better." The difference between the two accounts usually isn't the strategy — it's the discipline behind it.
