Investor mindset vs trader mindset: what actually separates them
Same market, two different jobs. A day trader lives on technicals; an investor digs into the company. Flow on the real dividing line.
The difference between an investor and a trader is the job, not the intelligence. "If you're a day trader, technicals matter the most" — price action, volume, sentiment — "and fundamentals don't matter as much." An investor does the opposite: you "dive into a company" and accept that good businesses can move slowly. Know which lane you're in.
Two lanes, two toolkits
Flow's breakdown: a day trader leans on technicals — price action, volume, short-term sentiment — because fundamentals barely move a single session. An investor works the other end: dive into the company, weigh the business, and give it time. Confusing the two — buying like an investor but reacting like a day trader — is how people lose.
