Where to chart and practice trades (Flow's tools)
Flow's stack for learning: chart on TradingView (via heavyreturns.com/charts), then practice executing on a paper-trading platform like thinkorswim before you risk real money.
Flow's learning stack: chart on TradingView, then practice executing before you risk real money. He points people to heavyreturns.com/charts (which opens TradingView) to learn to read charts, and to a platform like thinkorswim (from Charles Schwab) to actually practice placing trades — ideally in paper-trading mode — so mistakes cost reps, not rent money.
Learn the chart, then rehearse the trade
Two different skills need two different tools. A charting platform like TradingView teaches you to read price and volume; a broker platform like thinkorswim lets you rehearse the mechanics of entering, sizing and exiting. Doing the reps on paper first means your early mistakes — and there will be some — are free. Build the muscle memory before real money is on the line.
