Why Flow watches volume, not just price (it's in the name)
There's a reason he's called Flow. Volume is order flow — the real tug-of-war between buyers and sellers — and price goes wherever the strength is.
Flow calls himself Flow because he focuses on volume — and volume is order flow. Price, in his words, is "literally a tug-of-war, buying and selling between two parties," and "price goes wherever has the most strength." So instead of chasing the number on the screen, he reads the force behind it.
Price is the score; volume is the game
The price is just the current scoreboard. What actually moves it is order flow — the buying and selling pressure underneath, a tug-of-war between two sides. Whoever has the most strength wins the next move. Reading volume tells you which side is winning before the price fully reflects it, which is why Flow anchors on it rather than chasing the number itself.
