Price is what you pay, value is what you get
Flow leans on Buffett's line: price is what you pay, value is what you get. The edge is buying when your research says a stock is worth more than Wall Street's price.
Warren Buffett's line is the whole idea: price is what you pay, value is what you get. For Flow it means buying a stock only after the valuation metrics, the fundamental reports, and the technicals all say the same thing — that the business is worth more than what Wall Street is currently pricing it at. The gap between price and value is the opportunity.
Separate the sticker from the substance
Price is just the sticker the market is quoting today; value is what the business is actually worth. They're not the same, and the disciplined investor's job is to estimate value independently — through the financials and the fundamentals — then buy only when price sits below it. Do the work first; the conviction to hold comes from knowing why it's cheap, not from hoping it goes up.
