3 stocks to watch because of GTA 6
GTA 6 is coming, and Flow's watching three stocks that could benefit: the studio that makes it, the console maker who taxes every sale, and the chipmaker inside both consoles.
With GTA 6 on the way, Flow watches three stocks. Take-Two Interactive (TTWO) owns Rockstar and actually makes the game. Sony (SONY) gets paid on PlayStation transactions — and GTA 6 needs a PS5, not a PS4. And AMD (AMD), whose chips sit inside both the PlayStation and Xbox, gets paid no matter which console you buy.
Take-Two: they make the game
"This one is obvious," Flow says. Take-Two Interactive owns Rockstar Games, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto — so it's the most direct way to bet on GTA 6 itself.
Sony: the platform tax
GTA 6 won't run on a PlayStation 4 — you'll need a PS5. And on every PlayStation transaction, Flow notes, "Sony's gonna get paid." The console maker earns from hardware and its cut of the ecosystem, not just the game.
AMD: the pick that wins either way
The quiet one: "it doesn't matter if you buy the PlayStation version or the Xbox version — AMD is gonna get paid regardless, because their chip is in both machines." Both the PS5 and Xbox Series use AMD processors, so AMD benefits whichever console wins the buyer. These are watchlist ideas, not buy calls.
